Why Every Rack Needs Two PDUs (A/B Feed)
A single PDU is a single point of failure. If it trips, every server plugged into it loses power — regardless of the server’s PSU redundancy. Install two PDUs per rack, each connected to a different power feed (Feed A and Feed B). Connect each server’s PSU1 to Feed A PDU and PSU2 to Feed B PDU. When one PDU trips or a feed fails, every server with dual PSUs continues running on the other feed without a reboot. This is the difference between a 30-second maintenance window and a 3-hour outage with a root-cause analysis meeting.

C13/C19 outlets are the IEC standard. Compatible with Dell PowerEdge (all models), xFusion FusionServer, Lenovo ThinkSystem, HPE ProLiant, and any server with IEC C13 or C19 power inlets. For servers with C14 inlets (smaller form factor), use C13-to-C14 power cords.
