The xFusion FusionServer 2258H V8 is a 2U two-socket rack server for HPC, internet data centre and cloud workloads built on 5th Gen AMD EPYC 9005 processors. Two CPUs at up to 192 cores and 500 W each, 24 DDR5 DIMM slots and twelve PCIe lanes worth of expansion make it the compute-dense counterpart to the single-socket 2158H V8. Beijing Xinchuan Technology supplies it configured to order with worldwide shipping.
The storage layout is unusually flexible for a 2U chassis: eight 2.5″ bays, sixteen or twenty-four NVMe bays, eight 3.5″ bays, four rear-mounted 2.5″ NVMe bays, or two M.2 boot drives. That lets one platform serve as an all-NVMe database node or as a mixed-tier storage server without changing chassis. Four dual-width GPUs can be fitted alongside the standard PCIe slots for acceleration work.
- 2U two-socket chassis, 2 x 5th Gen AMD EPYC 9005 up to 192 cores and 500 W each

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the 2258H V8 and the 2158H V8?
The 2258H V8 has two AMD EPYC 9005 sockets, 24 DDR5 slots and up to 24 NVMe bays. The 2158H V8 has a single socket with a more GPU-heavy ratio. Both are 2U and share the same chassis depth.
How much memory does the 2258H V8 support?
24 DDR5 DIMM slots running at up to 6400 MT/s. Usable capacity depends on the DIMM population and the EPYC 9005 SKU ordered.
Can the 2258H V8 run an all-NVMe configuration?
Yes. Configurations include 16 or 24 NVMe drives, or 8 x 2.5″ NVMe with hardware RAID, in addition to SAS/SATA and 3.5″ options.
Does the 2258H V8 support GPUs?
Four dual-width GPUs can be installed alongside the ten PCIe 5.0 slots, which covers inference and acceleration cards.
Is the 2258H V8 a current generation model?
Yes. It is part of the FusionServer V8 generation and is supplied new, configured to the ordered bill of materials.
