The xFusion FusionServer 1288 V8 is a 1U two-socket rack server for virtualization, HPC and office automation workloads where rack space is the constraint. It fits two Intel Xeon 6 processors, 32 DDR5 memory slots and up to sixteen E3.S SSDs into a single rack unit. Beijing Xinchuan Technology supplies it configured to order with worldwide delivery.
Because the 1288 V8 uses the same processor and memory platform as the 2U 2288 V8, fleets can be standardised on one CPU family and one DIMM type across both chassis. The front panel carries five PCIe 5.0 slots and the rear carries three more, with two OCP 3.0 bays for hot-swappable network cards, so a 1U node can still take a RAID controller, a dual-port 100G NIC and additional NVMe without external hardware.
- 1U two-socket chassis, 2 x Intel Xeon 6 up to 144 cores and 350 W
- 32 x DDR5 DIMM slots up to 6400 MT/s, MRDIMM up to 8000 MT/s
- 8 or 10 x 2.5″, 4 x 3.5″ or 16 x E3.S drives, plus 2 x M.2 boot SSDs
- 3 rear plus 5 front PCIe 5.0 slots and 2 x OCP 3.0 NIC bays
- 8 fans in N+1 redundancy, 900 W to 3000 W Titanium or Platinum PSUs
Units are assembled to the ordered configuration, burned in and shipped with our standard warranty and RMA coverage. Ask for a configuration sheet, lead time or volume quote through admin@sell-server.com or WhatsApp +86 180 0106 0290.

Frequently asked questions
How many cores can a 1288 V8 support?
Two Intel Xeon 6 processors are supported with up to 144 cores in total, at a maximum of 350 W TDP per processor.
How many drives fit in the 1U 1288 V8?
The chassis accepts 8 or 10 x 2.5″ SAS/SATA/NVMe drives, 4 x 3.5″ SAS/SATA drives, or up to 16 x E3.S SSDs, plus two internal M.2 SSDs for the boot volume.
Does the 1288 V8 support 100G networking?
Yes. The two OCP 3.0 bays are hot-swappable and PCIe 5.0 capable, so 100G and 200G OCP NICs can be fitted. Three rear and five front PCIe 5.0 slots are also available for standard cards.
What is the difference between the 1288 V8 and the 2288 V8?
Both use the same Intel Xeon 6 platform and 32 DDR5 slots. The 1288 V8 is a 1U chassis optimised for density and E3.S storage; the 2288 V8 is 2U and adds support for four dual-width GPUs and larger 3.5″ drive counts.
Is the 1288 V8 available as a new unit?
Yes. The 1288 V8 is the current V8 generation and is supplied new, configured to the ordered bill of materials.
