What BOSS-N1 Is

The Boot Optimized Storage Subsystem (БОСС-Н1) is a dedicated hardware RAID module with two M.2 NVMe SSD slots, purpose-built for one job: running the OS boot volume in RAID 1. Why Boot Storage Deserves Its Own Subsystem

Boot volumes are read-mostly, low-write workloads — exactly the profile where a dedicated RAID 1 module wins:
