The 1U Server That Ends the Density Compromise

Every rack planner has hit the same wall: you want dual-socket compute and lots of memory, but the only way to get it used to be a 2U chassis that eats half your rack. The FusionServer 1288H V7 removes that compromise – it packs 2 X 385 W CPUs and 32 x DDR5 DIMMs into a single 1U chassis, avec 400 Gbit/s NIC interconnect on top. For IDC operators, cloud providers and enterprises where every rack unit pays rent, that is real money reclaimed.

High-Density Computing Power

One or two 4th or 5th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors with TDP up to 385 W per socket on the Emmitsburg PCH, paired with 32 x DDR5 DIMMs at up to 5600 MT/s. The AI memory fault self-healing feature predicts memory errors and contains them before they take down a workload, cutting system downtime by 66% – critical when a single 1U node may run dozens of VMs or containers.

Despite the density, cooling is not the usual 1U compromise: Advanced Extended Volume Air Cooling (EVAC) delivers 50% better heat dissipation than a single heat sink, et 8 x hot-swappable counter-rotating fans in N+1 redundancy keep 385 W sockets stable under load.

Stockage & RAID

Hot-swappable drive configurations include 8 à 12 x 2.5-inch SAS/SATA drives/SSDs or 4 x 3.5-inch SAS/SATA drives/SSDs, with dual M.2 SSDs for hardware-RAID flash boot. The RAID controller supports RAID 0, 1, 10, 1E, 5, 50, 6 et 60 with supercapacitor-backed cache protection, plus RAID level migration, conduire en itinérance, self-diagnosis and remote web-based configuration.
