Del EMC PowerEdge R740 and R740xd are dual 2U rack mounted servers designed to run complex workloads with highly scalable memory, VO capacity, and network options. The R740 and R740xd are equipped with the 2nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processor series, fino a 24 DIMM, expansion slots supporting PClExpress (PCle) 3.0, and network interface technology options to cover NIC and rNDC.
